Your NDPA data rights
The Nigerian Data Protection Act 2023 gives you four rights over the data we hold about you. Each one is yours by default. We just need to verify it is really you asking.
Right of access
Ask for a copy of the personal data Egen Work holds about you. We respond within 30 days.
Right to correction
Tell us if any detail is wrong and we will update it. Account fields can also be edited yourself once the app ships.
Right to erasure
Ask us to delete your personal data. We hold a 72-hour cooling-off window, then erase. Records we are required to keep by law (audit, anti-fraud) survive in redacted form.
Right to data portability
Receive your data in a structured machine-readable format you can take elsewhere.
